Vilma Vasiliauskaitė - I was born in 1972 Druskininkai. 1984 - 1991 I graduated from Druskininkai Art School. 1991 - 1997 at Šiauliai Pedagogical University, Faculty of Fine Arts, I obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in painting. From 2020 I am a member of LDS, in the group of individualists (painting). I currently live in Vilnius. I am an active participant of international plein airs, I have organized over 100 personal exhibitions and participated in more than 50 group exhibitions in Lithuania.
Themes for my work are inspired by nature. I often depict interiors, still lifes, dancing ballerinas transformed into various characters. Recently, I have been interested in mythological, historical themes and personalities.
