Lida Dubauskienė - graphic artist, was born in 1966 in Šilalė. From 1987 to 1993, she studied graphic arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Since 1993, she has been actively participating in exhibitions. She lives and works in Vilnius.
The artist has been awarded scholarships from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania for young artists in 1998 and 2000, as well as a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture in 2007. Her works have been acquired by the Lithuanian Art Museum and private collectors in Lithuania and abroad.
Lida Dubauskienė's work is characterized by intimacy, a deep understanding of technique, and a keen sense of space. She primarily works with the etching technique, where the line plays a crucial role. Her works often depict interpretations of Vilnius' old town architecture and human figures, most frequently women. The sense of space is dominant in her creations, with her characters captured in undefined spaces, thoughts, or intuitions.
